  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce or tamari Adds an umami depth. Use gluten-free tamari if necessary.
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional) Adds tanginess that balances the savory elements.
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil Crucial for achieving crispy texture.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven's broiler.
  • Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and place them on a baking tray.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and avocado oil.

Cooking

  • Place the baking tray in the oven and broil the tofu for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the tofu cubes and broil for an additional 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Notes
