Ingredients
  

For the casserole

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs Tender and flavorful
  • 1 can (24 oz) marinara sauce Rich and tangy
  • 1 cup water To help pasta cook
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked rotini pasta Spiral-shaped to capture sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Gooey and melty
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a nutty flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Aromatic with herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder For fragrant warmth
  • to taste Salt and pepper Enhances all the flavors

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine the frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, water, and uncooked rotini pasta.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir well to mix all ingredients together.
  • Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
  • After 35 minutes, remove the foil and stir the casserole.
  • Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy warm, allowing every bite to wrap you in comfort!

Notes

Cover the baking dish tightly with foil during the first phase of baking for evenly cooked pasta. Allow the casserole to rest after baking.
