Ingredients
  

Dough and Fillings

  • 1 can Pillsbury mini pizza crust Soft and flaky dough
  • 1 jar premade pesto Fresh basil taste with garlic and pine nuts
  • ¼ to ½ cup mozzarella cheese, cubed or shredded Creamy and melty mozzarella
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing on top

Preparation

  • Open the can of pizza crust and separate the pieces.
  • Roll each piece out until thin enough to hold the fillings.
  • Spoon about one tablespoon of pesto into the center of each dough piece.
  • Add some mozzarella cheese in the center.
  • Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  • Place seam side down on a lined baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the bombs for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, swap regular pizza crust for whole wheat and use low-fat cheese. These can be frozen before baking and made vegan with dairy-free cheese and pesto.
