Cooking Steps

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add cubed chicken, season with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until fully cooked, then remove and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add frozen peas and carrots, butter, and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Push vegetables to the sides and scramble the eggs in the center for 1-2 minutes.
  • Combine chicken, day-old rice, green onions, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until well mixed.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.
  • Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds if desired, then serve hot.

Notes

Use day-old rice for fluffiness. Have all ingredients prepped and ensure high heat for perfect cooking.
