  • 6 cups water Fresh and pure, providing the base for the noodles.
  • 2 packages ramen noodles Indulgently chewy noodles that form the heart of the dish.
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce Rich and savory, contributes to the sauce flavor.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adds sweetness to balance the saltiness.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Aromatic oil that enhances the dish's flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fragrant and adds depth to the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated Adds warmth and vibrance to the sauce.
  • 2 green onions, chopped Garnish for fresh flavor and color.
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables Adds color and nutritional goodness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  • Once boiling, add 2 packages of ramen noodles and discard the included seasoning packets.
  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions, usually 3-5 minutes, until al dente.
  • While noodles are cooking, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl.
  • When noodles are nearly done, add 1 cup of mixed vegetables to the pot.
  • Stir in the sauce mixture and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.

Serving

  • Serve the saucy ramen noodles hot and enjoy!

Notes

Boil water before adding noodles for perfect texture. Adjust vegetable quantity as per taste. For added protein, consider tofu, chicken, or shrimp.
