Garnishes

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté ground turkey for about 5 to 6 minutes until nearly browned.
  • Push turkey to one side of the skillet, add diced onion and remaining olive oil, and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add shredded carrots, minced garlic, and ginger, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any browned bits.
  • Add cabbage, soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  • Cover skillet and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes until cabbage is tender but still crunchy.
  • Stir in toasted sesame oil and serve over warm cooked rice.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

Notes

Avoid overcooking cabbage and always include garnishes for flavor. Adjust spices to preference.
