  • 1 lb ground beef Rich and hearty for robust flavor

For Assembly

  • 6 pieces English muffins Soft and toasted to perfection
  • 6 slices cheese Melting beautifully
  • 2 tbsp melted butter Rich and decadent
  • Syrup Optional, for a touch of indulgence

Instructions

Preparation

  • Blend the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and white pepper in a large bowl until smooth and well-combined.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes, until the eggs are fluffy and set, puffed up nicely and golden on top.
  • Combine the ground sausage and ground beef in a separate bowl. Add the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until fully combined.
  • Shape the mixture into patties weighing about 5–6 ounces each, larger than your English muffins.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a bit of oil and sear the patties for about 5–6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Remove the baked egg from the oven, let it cool slightly, then cut it into squares similar in size to English muffins.
  • Melt butter in another pan and toast the English muffins until golden brown, optionally adding syrup while toasting.

Assembly

  • Assemble your sandwiches by placing a fried egg square, a cheese slice, and a sausage patty on the lower half of each English muffin.
  • Top with the other half of the muffin, then wrap each sandwich in parchment paper or plastic wrap and store in a ziplock bag for freezing.

Notes

For best results, grease your baking dish well to avoid sticking and let your patties sit before cooking for enhanced flavor absorption. Adjust seasonings as desired. If freezing, ensure they are tightly wrapped to prevent freezer burn.
