For the Batter

  • 1.5 cups Pancake Mix The key to a fluffy and light batter.
  • 1 Large Egg Egg Adds richness and binds the batter.
  • 1 cup Milk Adds moisture to your batter.
  • 2 teaspoons Vegetable Oil Essential for frying for crispy texture.
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar Sweet dusting to finish off the Fried Cheesecake.

Preparation

  • Cut the frozen cheesecake into 1-inch squares and freeze again until firm.
  • Heat about 3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot to 360 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together pancake mix, egg, milk, and vegetable oil until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.

Frying

  • Dip each cheesecake piece into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and carefully place it in the hot oil.
  • Fry for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally until the Fried Cheesecake is beautifully golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels to prevent excess oil.
