Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces cod fillets The star of the dish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  • Place cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the soy-ginger mixture generously over each cod fillet.

Cooking

  • Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily.
  • While the cod is baking, chop green onions and toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet until golden brown.
  • Once cod is done, remove from the oven and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot with sides such as steamed rice or sautéed veggies.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate cod fillets in the glaze for 15-30 minutes before baking. Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
