  • Brown the Ground Beef: Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks until browned.
  • Sauté the Vegetables: Add chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and fragrant.
  • Stir in the Tomatoes and Beans: Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, and black beans. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to Simmer: Increase heat until mixture bubbles, then reduce to low. Simmer uncovered for about one hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and Adjust: After an hour, taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
