Ingredients
  

For the Stuffing

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Tender and juicy
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped Vibrant and green
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Rich and creamy
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese Stringy and flavorful
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic and inviting
  • 2 tablespoons butter Golden and rich

For the Salmon

  • 2 fillets salmon Fresh and flaky
  • 2 tablespoons honey Sweet and luscious
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Zesty and bright
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoky and warm
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Herbaceous and fragrant
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for seasoning
  • slices Lemon, for garnish Fresh and vibrant

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice each salmon fillet horizontally to create a pocket—be careful not to cut all the way through.
  • In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the pan, cooking until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and chop into small pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, spinach, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Assembly and Cooking

  • Stuff the shrimp and cheese mixture into the salmon pockets evenly.
  • Place the stuffed salmon in a baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, lemon juice, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Brush this glaze over the salmon fillets.
  • Arrange lemon slices around the fish in the dish.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve hot, garnished with roasted lemon slices.

Notes

Ensure to use fresh ingredients, particularly the salmon and shrimp. Avoid overcooking the salmon to keep it moist.
