Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Rice Krispies Treats Store-bought, soft and chewy
  • 1 cup Red candy melt wafers Bright and vibrant
  • 1 cup Yellow candy melt wafers Sunny and cheerful
  • 1 cup Orange candy melt wafers Rich and bold
  • 1 cup Green candy melt wafers Fresh and lively
  • 1 cup Blue candy melt wafers Cool and calming
  • 1 cup M&M's In matching colors (red, yellow, orange, green, blue)
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil Optional, to thin chocolate if needed

Instructions

Preparation

  • Unwrap all the Rice Krispies Treats and lay them out on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Trim about one-third off each treat to create iconic square LEGO shapes, using the smaller pieces for tiny LEGO bricks.

Melting Candy

  • Focus on one color at a time for the melting process. In a microwave-safe bowl, measure about half a cup of candy melt wafers.
  • Heat the candy melts in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring after each interval until smooth and fully melted.
  • If the melted chocolate appears thick, stir in a tiny bit of vegetable oil for a smoother consistency.

Coating Treats

  • Spoon the melted chocolate generously over the top of each Rice Krispies treat, spreading it evenly with a knife.
  • While the chocolate is still gooey, press coordinating colored M&M's into the top to mimic LEGO studs.

Setting

  • Let the treats sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens completely, or refrigerate for about 15 minutes to speed up the process.

Notes

Serve on a colorful platter for a festive display. These treats can be packaged as party favors or included in themed dessert tables.
