For the burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20) Delivers a juicy and flavorful burger.
  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning Enhances the beef flavor.
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Brings depth of flavor.
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese Melts beautifully, adding creamy texture.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns (brioche recommended) Holds everything together perfectly.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Sautéed Mushrooms

  • Add the butter and olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the butter is bubbling, add the sliced mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Stir everything together and let cook for 5 minutes without stirring.
  • After 5 minutes, pour in the beef broth and let it reduce for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Once reduced, add minced garlic and black pepper, cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and set the mushrooms aside.

Preparation of Beef Patties

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix gently with your hands to keep the meat tender, and form into four 4-ounce patties.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  • In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty to melt.
  • Toast the buns on the grill until golden and crisp.
  • Let the burgers rest for 3 to 5 minutes before assembling.

Assembly

  • Place a patty inside each toasted bun.
  • Top with the sautéed mushrooms and additional toppings as desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
