Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the shrimp generously with Slap Ya Mama seasoning, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the linguine, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and sliced garlic. Toss in 2 to 3 fresh basil leaves, herbs de Provence, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a light boil, then reduce heat and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring frequently, until the pasta is al dente.
  • Lower the heat and stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Once melted, reintroduce the cooked shrimp, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and remaining basil leaves.
  • Toss everything together until well combined and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with a fresh garden salad and crusty bread. For a healthier twist, consider whole grain or zucchini noodles. Ensure the shrimp is fresh and avoid overcooking the pasta for the best texture.
