  • 15 pieces Oreos 10 for the batter and 5 for topping.

Whipped Cream Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups heavy cream for a decadent whipped topping.
  • 0.25 cups powdered sugar sweetening the whipped cream for an exquisite finish.
  • Extra pieces Oreos for garnish, to elevate the presentation.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  • Crush 10 Oreos into small pieces and fold them into the batter.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
  • While pancakes are cooking, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Crush 5 more Oreos and gently fold them into the whipped cream.
  • Once all pancakes are cooked, stack them on a plate, layering whipped cream in between.
  • Top with an extra dollop of whipped cream and garnish with remaining Oreos.

Notes

Serve with fresh fruit, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce, and pair with coffee or a latte for a perfect breakfast.
