  • 3 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough Buttery and flaky dough forms the perfect base.
  • 1 cup peach preserves or peach jam Provides a luscious filling.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adds a warm spice that complements the peaches.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar) For the glaze.
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream Adds richness to the glaze.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  • In a small bowl, combine the peach preserves and ground cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.
  • Open the first can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface, pressing the seams together to form a rectangle.
  • Spread about 1/3 cup of the peach-cinnamon mixture over the dough rectangle, leaving a 1/4-inch border.
  • Tightly roll the dough into a log from the long edge, cut the log in half crosswise, then slice each half lengthwise.
  • Twist each strip to expose the filling and roll into a spiral shape. Place each cruffin in the muffin tin with the spiral facing up.
  • Repeat the rolling process with remaining cans of dough until all cruffins are shaped.

Baking

  • Bake the cruffins for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and heavy cream.
  • After baking, let the cruffins cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with glaze.

Notes

Serve warm for breakfast or as a sweet treat. Experiment with different fruit preserves for variety!
