Cooking Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, green bell pepper, and jalapeño to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in the chicken broth, cilantro, green olives, raisins, cumin, oregano, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or with tortillas.

Notes

For best results, don't rush the browning of the beef and adjust seasoning to your taste. Fresh herbs should be added before serving for maximum flavor.
