Ingredients
  

For the Crust

For the Topping

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar For sweetening whipped cream.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a luxurious topping.
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract To enhance whipped cream flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until combined.
  • Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of the springform pan to form a crust.

Cheesecake Mixture

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add granulated sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder; mix until creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  • Stir in red food coloring until evenly mixed.
  • Gently fold in diced strawberries.

Baking

  • Pour cheesecake batter over the crust and smooth the top.
  • Bake for about 1 hour or until the edges are set but the center jiggles slightly.
  • Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

Chilling

  • Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight.

Topping

  • Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread whipped cream over chilled cheesecake before serving.
