  • 1 can (8 ounces) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls Flaky, buttery dough that becomes beautifully golden and crisp.
  • 8 links breakfast sausage Savory and aromatic, these links bring a hearty bite to your rollups.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Sharp and gooey, cheddar adds a wonderful meltiness to each rollup.
  • salt and pepper to taste Essential seasonings that elevate the dish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage links until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Pour the beaten eggs into the same skillet. Cook over medium-low heat, gently stirring, until the eggs are just set but still creamy. Remove from heat.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.

Assembly

  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangular pieces.
  • Place half a slice of cheddar cheese at the wide end of each triangle, add a spoonful of scrambled eggs, and top with one sausage link.
  • Starting from the wide end, roll each crescent toward the pointed end, enclosing the filling.
  • Place the roll-ups seam-side down on the baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

Baking

  • Bake for 11-14 minutes until golden brown and the dough is fully cooked.
  • Let the roll-ups cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes
