Ingredients
  

For the nachos base

  • 1 large bag seasoned fries, crispy and golden brown
  • 1 large bag nacho cheese tortilla chips, crunchy and delicious

Meat ingredients

  • 300 grams ground beef, tender and juicy
  • 12 to 15 large shrimp, peeled and deveined, sweet and succulent

For the cheese sauce

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, sharp and melty
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, creamy and smooth
  • 1 cup heavy cream, luscious and velvety
  • 1 tablespoon butter, rich and creamy For melting
  • ½ teaspoon paprika, for added depth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder, amplifying the flavors
  • Pinch salt, rounding off the dish perfectly

Toppings and seasoning

  • 1 medium tomato, diced, fresh and vibrant
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for an extra touch of richness
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, smoky and aromatic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, flavorful and savory
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder, sweet and fragrant

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the seasoned fries according to the package directions until they are golden and crispy.
  • Arrange the cooked fries on a large serving plate as a base for the nachos.
  • Arrange the crunchy tortilla chips around the edges of the fries.

Cooking

  • In a medium pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through, crumbling with a spatula.
  • Season beef with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and set aside.
  • Using the same pan, melt butter over medium heat, then add shrimp and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes per side until pink.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and heavy cream over medium heat for the cheese sauce.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, along with paprika, garlic powder, and salt, until cheese melts completely.
  • Layer the cooked ground beef over fries and chips followed by the shrimp and diced tomato.
  • Generously pour the hot cheese sauce over all ingredients.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Serve with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, or sliced jalapeños for added flavor. To create healthier alternatives, consider using sweet potato fries or leaner proteins.
