  • 1/4 cup Bachan's Original Japanese BBQ sauce for rich, tangy taste
  • 4 cups day-old cooked rice holds its shape better
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced adds sweetness
  • 1 bag frozen peas and carrots adds color and nutrition
  • 4 large eggs adds richness
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted for crispiness
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped for freshness

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise creamy base for the sauce
  • 1/4 cup water for consistency
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup adds sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon sugar balances flavors
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder enhances savory profile
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika adds depth

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cube the partially frozen ribeye steak into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place cubed steak in a bowl, drizzle with BBQ sauce, and add SPG blend. Toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle colossal shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, water, ketchup, sugar, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.

Cooking

  • Preheat a griddle or large skillet to 450°F (232°C).
  • Cook the seasoned steak cubes on the griddle for about 5 minutes until a brown crust forms. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook shrimp for 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Set aside with steak.
  • Sauté diced onion and frozen peas and carrots in the griddle for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add day-old rice and melted butter to the veggies, mix thoroughly, breaking up clumps.
  • Push the rice mixture aside and scramble the eggs in the cleared space. Combine them with rice once cooked.
  • Incorporate the cooked steak and shrimp into the rice mixture until heated through. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Serving

  • Serve Steak and Shrimp Fried Rice on a platter with the creamy sauce on the side.

Notes

For best results, use day-old rice. Prepping ingredients ahead of time is crucial for a smooth cooking experience.
