Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, making sure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for best results. Chill the dough for 30 minutes to enhance flavor and prevent spreading.
